Spatial orientation and perception of the environment  

Adoption of basic knowledge of cartography, its development and methods of producing maps, cartographic visualization and generalization with a focus on achieving the ability to distinguish objects viewed at different cartographic representations and the application of the elements of cartography in order to develop simple maps and map related representations. The students will: Describe the purpose and applied topographic, marine and other maps in orientation. Qualitative and a quantitative interpretation of spatial data and evaluate their suitability for use. To plan methods of surveying and integrate spatial data from different sources for the purpose of orientation. Implement reambulation of space. Master orientation in space using classic and modern navigation devices.
